1/2 teaspoon onion powder
1 teaspoon hot red pepper sauce
1 teaspoon mesquite-flavored liquid smoke
1/2 teaspoon ground coriander
1/2 cup packed light brown sugar
1/2 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
Preparation :
Wash the wings and drain it completely. Preheat gas grill to medium high or prepare the medium-hot charcoal fire. Grill the wings to medium high heat for 15 minutes. While grilling
turn often and do it till the wings become crispy. Mix black pepper, brown sugar, onion powder, coriander, hot pepper sauce, honey, ketchup and vinegar in a medium bowl and mix well.
Baste wings and keep turning often. Basting is not done earlier as the high sugar content can cause the chicken wings to burn fast. Keep basting and grilling till the wings are cooked properly and charred a bit. Approximately 10 minutes cooking.
